Snow Equipment Owning/Operating A bad day Playing in the snow

I recieved these photos from a friend who happened to come across a serious accident here in Saratoga County NY. From what I understand a car lost control on the snow covered road and wacked this Bota in the bucket really hard. The operator walked away being belted down but the driver of the car was seriously hurt. Just a reminder to wear your seatbelt when operating your tractor.

Wow! One lucky tractor operator! I always try to hide behind a snow bank when vehicles are approaching and I am moving snow. I also keep all my lights and hazards on to make me more visible. I have seen a few drivers over-react to my presence and spin out on my road. Jay

Used to be, everytime you heard of one of these the tractor operator died. Good to see a higher survival rate.

Now that the tractor is split, guess his old style PTO cams can easily be changed for the new style

Seriously though, good to hear that everyone did survive.
