92 B7100

Just put a deposit down on a 92 B7100HST with Kubota original FEL & 4 ft finish mower. I'm purchasing it from the original owner. 500 hours. never rained on. serviced meticulously. Washed & waxed regularly. I can't imagine ever finding one this nice again. I mean this thing is imaculate. Had to grab the whole package for $7,900. Couldn't pass it up. Someone please confirm that I got a great deal so my wife will believe me... ;^)

Thanks to everyone who replied to my various posts over the past 3 days. I appreciate the info. This is a great board and I plan to participate regularly.

I would say you got a heck of a good deal.

Just becareful when your steering on rough surface..mostly when the fel is loaded..for you might bang your fingers..no power steering. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

I'd say you did good, Eric. As I've posted many times, the dealer gave me $8,000 for my '95 B7100 and loader without a mower that you're getting. And it had about the same number of hours about two and a half years ago. And like Thomas said, the biggest drawback is the lack of power steering. You can handle turning the steering wheel all right, but if don't have a good grip on it when one front wheel hits a ridge, rut, etc., it's going to spin and can knock some skin off your knuckles. Mine never hurt me, but sure did startle me a few times.

I've got one in the barn, and they are great little tractors, price doesn;t sound too bad either.

Sounds like a fair price for the package.

I've had a B7100HST (1995 model) for three years. It's a great little workhorse and doesn't ask for much in terms of care and feeding. Good fuel, clean oil, a bath now and again. You're gonna love that little tractor.
