I just bought this 2 year old Fred Cain 3 Point Field Cultivator, Ripper, Tillage Tool 9 shank. I am using it in a new cleared food plot that was all woods. This thing is one bad rascal and will rip roots out by the truck load. It will stop my 4x4 55 hp tractor if I drop it all the way down. This thing is pulling up rocks by the ton.
Cool attachment and I only paid $350.00

Good deal, $350 is a pretty decent price for that attachment. I've used the 7 shank version of that very same attachment, and it could stop my 30hp 4x4 tractor as well, if you let dig to the maximum depth or if it caught a big root.

i also like the old spring tooth tillers as we call them around here, here is a short video of one behind a old ford i had last year, we where working up a 6 acre botton for a food plot

i have the fred cain model as well as a older massey ferguson branded one, i like the fred cain's but i like the ferguson better, it has more room between the two rows of feet and lets more trash filter through without plugging it up

they will find and pull up rocks for sure!
