8n hyd lift

I have 8n tractor where the 3 point lift has suddenly decided it is all the way up or all the way down! There is no inbetween , any ideas of the problem and fix?

Dave,

There is another lever under the seat of the 8N that switches the 3 point hitch from draft control to position control. Is that lever in it's original position? position control is lil lever up.

check that.

if up.. try pressing on it a lil and see if it makes your lift work better. if so.. time for linkage adjustment..

post back what you find.
