I have 87 hrs on 8560 with loader It blew hydraulic hoses repeatedly in the first 15 hrs at the metal press fittings, clutch froze to flywheel, replaced fuel line in this period. I now can't get it to stay running. It will occasionally start after sitting a few days and die within 2-10 mins. when i flush all fuel lines and bleed the air, pump the manual primer it simply won't start. I have blown air through the supply lines, the return lines and have removed the injector lines at pump and engine and fuel is flowing I pulled the pickup tubes out of the tank and no problem there. I cant find any glow plugs I don't think it has any. I find the plug control box but no wires run to cylinders anywhere. The intake heater does get the intake on left side warm. As I work on this I realize what a piece of junk it is. countless electrical connections have one or more flimsy wires leading to plastic connectors waiting to break. The manual is worthless. I paid 160 for a service manual which is just a parts list The fuel injector pump is shown as an entire unit. The dealer sold out probably because they were junk and the dealership that bought it is not at all inclined to be helpful... Any ideas on next steps things to try, dealers or service in my area. Waco Texas It looks like I am going to have to buy a big trailer to get this $37,000 POS back and forth to shop.

You should contact Mahindra and ask for a field rep to hear you out.
Also, perhaps you should document all the issues in chronological order and not be so mad and negative toward Mahindra in general. Seems you may have a 'Lemon' and may catch more flies with sugar than salt!

87 hours on it.. is it new? If so I wouldn't lay a finger on it.. have the dealer come and pick it up and fix it! Sorry to hear your issue.. nothing worse than spending grand money on something to find it a lemon. Mahindra is generally very good stuff.

You requested help locating a dealer or service area. That would lead me to conclude that you did not purchase this machine new, likely did not purchase it from a dealer, and do not know for sure how it was used or maintained before you purchased it.

You also stated you blew out the lines, I am assuming with compressed air. Removing all that air is not trivial, and running for a moment and then stalling is common with air in the system.

The only time I have seen/heard of clutches freezing are when the plate is worn. The metal flakes in the clutch lining corrode, and cause a bond between the flywheel/pressure plate and the disc. I suppose it could happen to a machine with a newer clutch that was left sitting for a very long period of time, especially if water got into the housing.

Does the tractor have 87 total hours, or are those just the hours you put on it?

What year is it?

Coming to conclusions like "the dealer sold out probably because they were junk" doesn't really help your situation. Based on your attitude in the single post I've seen, as a dealer that did not sell you the tractor, I'd be disinclined to help you also.

If I am incorrect, and the tractor is new, then I have to question why you're not having the work performed under warranty. Even if you have to pay to have it moved, that's not really a big deal compared to the time you've spent on it yourself.

My brother bought a new 8560 two years ago and it's been trouble free, very stout tractor. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I deal with the same dealer with my baler and my New Holland,it's a little far from Waco but it's in Crockett.

Taking everything apart trying to fix one problem can in some cases only make things worse.Get some educated diagnostic help and try being nice when you ask for it.

I have a 7520 and feel your pain.

,,,,The hyd hoses are faulty. -- incompetence in the spec chain.

The clutch will quit doing this when it breaks in ... ~ 200 hrs.

,,,,You have an air leak in the fuel circuit. Maybe you bumped/bent something underneath as you worked ... like the fuel filter assembly for instance. Lots of relatively unprotected fragile stuf down there.

There are no glow plugs and the engine doesnt need any intake heat to start until below freezing at least. I manually energize my intake heaters when needed. Auto failed.

,,,,Protection of electrical connections and virtually everything else underneath is junk. Watch what you roll over.

Stop taking the high pressure side of the fuel system apart. If it ever ran OK that part is fine.

Did you purchase new from a dealer?? even if not, unless time has run out, it still should have warranty on it for some of your issues.
I tested a 8560 for a couple of weeks (used) that was beat near to death but ran like a Clydesdale with few issues, it had almost 800 hours IIRC. Just more tractor than I needed.

Sorry to hear about the trouble, I must agree with jb1390 however. Hands off from now on if it is still under warranty and clarify if you bought it new. The new clutches are "Cerametalic" (no more asbestos) and can seize to the flywheel in high humidity and wet conditions. Respond to some of the post's and you will receive good advice. There is a huge amount of knowledge available here in these forums.
