thanks jj and ss doxie, i believe ss is probably right. i've had the chain case and axle tubes out a few years back for an unrelated repair, didn't see any solenoids in that area then. next time i have in the shop doing p.m., i'll check for that ' bolt and pin' on rh joy stick. thanks again .

The 853 & 753 were replacement models for the 843 & 743, the x53s were 1st to have electric over hydraulic auxiliary control.
