80 Loader & power steering on 850

I'm transfering an 80 loader and power steering from one 850 tractor to another identical 850. Got everything hooked up just as it was on the other tractor but for some reason I have no hydraulic pressure. When I installed a loader on my YM336D yanmar I had to install a small plug internally for the hydraulics to work. Does anyone no if the 850 needs a similar plug installed or removed and if so where does it go? Any help would be great.

John Deere parts catalog (there are two) has a serial number break, up to 16000, and 16001 and up. It might help someone answer if you post if your serial numbers are above or below 16000 for each 850.

Yes there is a 3/8 pipe plug that has to be put in and taken out of the other 850. Been many years when I done it so can't tell just where.

Any of the "similar threads" mentioned below provide any clue to that plug?

Thanks for the replies. This morning I located the plug and the loader and power steering are working great. The bad news is the main hydraulic lines from the valve to the loader are seeping fluid. Oh well at least I know everthing works great. I'll remove the lines and head for Oreilys. The tractor that I removed the loader from appears to be a very sound tractor but It has a spun rod bearing. It has a Curtis cab on it. My next project will be removing the engine and repairing it. I may need additional help in the future.
