I'll admit that I'm of mixed minds about my Kioti buying experience. On one hand, the dealer has been communicative. On the other hand, it's taking 8 weeks from ordering to get a tractor.

I got a quote on April 17th for a DK4510HS. I spent some time hemming and hawing, and asking about attachments. Then I asked about the "More Power for your Money" promotion on the Kioti website, which was pricing DK5010HS units below DK4510HS units. It was supposed to be good till the end of the month. Well, my dealer didn't know about it, and it disappeared from their website the next day. Anyway, it takes a few days, and I'm offered a DK4510HS at the lower price. By April 27th, our credit is approved and the tractor is on order. I was asked when I need it. I said, soon, definitely within 5 weeks. I was given an estimate of 3-4 weeks..

On May 18th, I checked in, to see if it had arrived. My dealer hadn't heard from Kioti, checked in, and found it was supposed to ship by late the next week. On June 1, they emailed me that the tractor still hadn't shipped. On June 5, it was supposed to ship out the next day. It arrived June 13, and they said they hoped to deliver that week. Well, that didn't happen, but it will be ready tomorrow.

In all of this waiting, I had ordered a grapple, which was supposed to arrive well after the tractor. It arrived well before the tractor instead. Because I didn't have a loader to unload it, I had to truck it over to my dealer, 80 miles round trip, who took was able to unload it. (And will now install it.)

So the dealer's been pretty good, aside from taking a few extra days to put everything together. Kioti had disappearing promotions, took forever, and revised their shipping date a few times.

I'm finally going to get to drive it tomorrow.

So was it worth the wait?

I wanted a JD CUT and they had one in the area that had been sitting around a while but I wanted one with the options I wanted not just what they had. I ordered it and had a 3 month wait and that was painful, but I got one hot off the press. I never had one before so I didn't really know how much I would miss it.

It will all work out unless it was built on a Friday afternoon when they throw all their unwanted parts in it.:D
