I read on the spec sheet at the dealers, that the 790 uses 1.3 gal and hr, just mowing. This seems like a lot to me, for light duty. Its only 27 hp, and my 20 hp yanmar doesn't use near that much. So is the sheet right, do they really use that much? That would use a lot of fuel, for me, as I use it at least 2 times a month bush hogging, a few acres.

Hi my old 790 under full load ( I had the 30 HP engine in mine) would use about 3/4 gallon an hour. my little 2210 seems to use more like a gallon + an hour. the only real differance I see is the 790 would top out at 2700 RPM were the 2210 revs to 3000 RPM now my Kubota ZD 25 uses just over a half gallon an hour and weights more than my 2210 ? the ZD doesn't have a tach so I'm not sure what RPM it max out to.

Thank you
Jim
