Was wondering how many hours on a tank of fuel everybody is getting on there 790's. I knew it would burn a little more than my 650 I had but its about double. One tank of fuel only goes about 7hours at the most. My old 650 would go about 15. Was just curious if mine was just thirsty. Mine is the 91 cubic engine model that may make a difference.

Sounds about right. .8 to.9 gallons per hour or to look at it another way, about $2 per hour.

My 770 with an 83 cu in 25 hp engine uses about 3/4 gallon per hour or just a little less at it's rated RPM.

By contrast, my 17 hp 35 cu in Kawasaki GASOLINE engine on my Toro mower uses about a gallon per hour and there is NO comparison to the power the diesel makes over the gas engine.

At PTO rated rpms, using a rough cut mower, im burning around 1 (+/-) gals per hour.
