7360ss diff lock

Well, now I've discovered that my diff lock doesn't work. The pedal just goes down easy and stays down all by itself. Is this a simple fix or a nightmare? I'm starting to think I've been had! Any ideas??

I have good news. I took the hydraulic lift section off my rear end and found that the roll pin had come out of the diff lock shaft. I put a new pin in and ran a loop of wire through it so it can't come out again. All that work for a $.50 roll pin!
