Tractor
NH 1925
I broke the right rear mount for my 7308 loader on my 1925 on Saturday, so for the second time I had to take my loader off the tractor, and remembered / noticed that I have the hydraulic soft lines still attached to the loader and the tractor with two pieces of twisted romex wire.

I talked to my local NH dealer and they said just use whatever to hold those hoses on like a rubber strap.

What are you guys using to keep the hoses in place with the loader mounted, I need to spend some time in the parts manual I guess, and maybe I should not worry about it as the same pieces of Romex have worked for several years now with no problem, just something I would like to be a bit nicer.

When my tractor was delivered it had one rubber tie down strap. I noticed the hoses still rubbed the hood so I put another one on it to keep the hoses off the tractor hood. How did you manage to break the back mount? I have put a lot of pressure on mine with no trouble as of yet. There is a cover over the hoses on my tractor that came with the loader.

Digging in some clay. Both my loader rear mounts had been broken and welded prior to my purchasing (I bet someone was ramming it into stuff)

The one I broke, you could see where someone thought they had welded it and it looked good from the outside, but where it snapped the remaining solid welded part, you could see where they had no penetration and it had been broken for a while.

I thought about gusseting it up some and making it stronger, but talking with my dad he brought up a good point. I can weld it again, no problem if needed, and I think of all the parts there, I would rather those things act as a fuse and break before something else that would be worse or more expensive to repair broke.

I added a zip-tie to help keep the hoses of the hood a little better. The are cheap and I've always got plenty around the shop. Cut one, work on somthing and put one back.

I wish I had invented them. :(
