Will the 72" yellow side discharge mower deck from a F935 fit on a F1145? If anyone has had success with this, can you provide helpful tips and insight when doing this?

The 935 and 1145 72" decks are different part numbers, BUT, I would believe they are interchangeable. I'd check the gearbox ratio in case there is a PTO rpm difference (1:1) vs 3:1) and I would check rotation direction. I see that guys are also using the 76" rear discharge deck on both machines, too.
The 935 at 22 hp vs the 1145 at 28 hp suggests nothing to me except the 1145 4wd needs more jump. My 935 deck is the 'Commercial' labeled unit. I also have a 72" MMM for my 1070 tractor whose deck could be made to run on my 935 without much trouble. In the past had dreams of running that deck hydraulically off of the loader arms for the ultimate field terrorizing setup.
If you have the gearbox and a propshaft that reaches it from the 935, I would bet that the 1145 deck would be a no brainer.

So I took a stab at putting the 72" mower deck on the F1145, no immediate success. Both the arms line up good with the hydraulic lift, the deck aligns well with the machine, but the pto shaft is to long. Even swapping pto shafts from each deck will not help. This is why F1145 deck gearboxes are closer to the top of the deck as compared to F900 series decks. A shorter pto shaft by 4"-6" may do the trick. Currently the shortest shaft, that I have is approximately 26" from yoke to yoke, compressed. I will keep you posted. Thanks

you can install a snow blower frame from a f900s on a f1145. I used the snow blower from my x585. so I can use eather one .you must turn the gear box so shafts line up front an rear must redrill for rear shaft 1 1/2 hole rebolt gear box to mounting plate. I had add 225 lds. to the rear start by filling the tires give you about 60 lbs
