7100 new owner

hi all.new here. i just got my first real tractor. 7100 it is great.now i need a backhoe for it.

Tells us little more about B7100..pics would be nice.

B7100 w/BH now that could be interesting more so since no power steering.

I have a backhoe for mine and don't notice any difference in steering. I did rent a b7800 at my parents house a few weeks ago to move some dirt... man the power steering was nice!

it is a 1982 i think the serial # is b7001-45541.i have had it a week and already moved about 200 big rocks to finish my wall. charlz what model is the backhoe?

My B7100 actually steers much easier when I put the backhoe on it. The backhoe balances out the load in the bucket. I have a Woods BH 750 on mine. It is a great combination.

Does your BH have 3pt hitch setup?

I seen BH on B6100 also can be tippy.

My backhoe is a sub frame mount. I need to remove just the 3PH arms to install. As far as being tippy. I run the rear wheels out as far as they can go. I filled the the rear tires with Windshield fluid and have 85 lbs on each wheel and 50 lbs on the fronts. With this set up it is very stable. If I am going up a very steep hill it feels a little light in the front but I can still steer.
