7 iron deck on an X595

Anyone know if a 7 iron deck can fit, or be made to fit on an X595? My dealer says it doesn't fit, but doesn't say or know why. A TBN member says he has one on his 2006 X728, which is supposed to be an exact duplicate of the X595. So does anyone else know first hand that this combination will work? Thanks

According to Deere web site here are the decks for your x595
Operator's Manual OMM146676 48C, 54C 62C Mower Decks for X400/X500/X700 Series Tractors(010001-)

The only way to know for sure is to try one, but I do not know why it would not fit. All of the other size current decks fit the older tractors.

Seems so, I just wish I knew someone who had one so I could try it. Hate to spend $2000 on one, then find out my dealer was right.

No, it does not work.

The mounting points are located in a completely different spot on your frame, as opposed to the newer x700 series machines. Don't bother trying to weld or rig up some sort of way to make it work, if it doesn't fit from the factory, don't start screwing with the frame.

Yeah that's the same guy that I had mentioned. Now he says, that he has a 7 iron on his 2006 and all is good. I emailed him to get an update, just waiting for a reply.

That's actually a good idea, about bringing my tractor to my dealer. I'm sure they would accommodate me given the potential sale of a 7 iron deck.

I have the 7 iron on my 2006 X728, but cannot confirm "all is good" yet. I need to get the hard cab off to get the deck all the way up. I just have little to no free time to get to it. Hopefully within the next several weeks I can confirm and post some pictures.

I can say the c,earache to the tires looks good, albeit at full up, will be "snug" to the rear tires. It may actually limit upward travel. I have turf tires. I know on the later tractors, Deere actually had to make special " small" 26" HDAP tires on 7 iron tractors.
