Looking at mx4800 to dealers one has lp1872 and other lp 2072 they are both priced at $2200.00 which is better or is there a better Bush hog for price?

A lot has to do with your intended use. What are you plans, cutting 2' high grass or something closer to right of way clearing?

Very small weight difference in them. Id go with the 20 series with them being the same cost.
