My tach started squeeling and squaking yesterday. RPM's bouncing all over and then just quit, along with the noise. I don't have my repair manual available right now, so I didn't bother checking into it. Won't be able to get my manual for a week or two. I was wondering if this is the tach or possibly just a cable problem? Heck, I'm not sure how it even works really. I would like to know what I need to fix/repair. Any help?
