I haven’t used my 641 for about a year. When i fired it up recently, it started and ran fine but the lift arms do not move until the lift lever is about half way through its stroke. For the last half of the stroke it is fine. Hyd level is fine. Any thoughts on where to start?

Is the draft lever, short handle under the seat, RH side, flipped up/down? This changes the quadrant from draft to position control or vs versa. Flip it in the opposite direction as it sounds like the hitch is in draft mode.

Changing the draft control lever did not change the behavior. Any other ideas?

Since that did not fix it that means the cam follower pin is worn down. You will need to remove the top cover and replace the pin. Not a hard job to do but you will need help removing and replacing the hydraulic top cover. Here is a pic of the same pin from an 8N I am referring to.
