60 hp Kubota at TraderOnline

For anyone thinking of an L5030, L48 or M4900/M5700 size machine, there is a Kubota L5450 in Texas listed for sale HERE - Not mine, no affiliation, etc. etc. but it seems to be an attractive price for a very strong tractor. I'm a real fan of this L3 series. Five cylinders, silky shuttle, massive axles, robust loader, big hydraulic pump, and on R4's it has low center of gravity. The asking price is half that of anything new with similar capability. (Maybe I'll be a tractor salesman someday when I retire) /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I have this model and it impresses me every time I use it. It must be about the right tractor - haven't had upgrade-itis in a long time.

Get GST if possible. Traderonline is a wonderful website and i look through there now and then

When the L5450 was new, GST was not available for tractors that heavy. They have a multi-disc hydraulic clutch. It was expensive but they last forever. The shuttle valving is pretty sophisticated, allowing high rpm shuttling with "soft landing". On a GST I tried out once, the shifts were pretty harsh unless the rpms were low. Maybe they fixed that ?
