Happy NY to you all.

I was just messing with the CT235 and thought I'd post a pic and quick question.

For those of you with the Bobcat labeled Rhino backhoe (#TB), how does yours look after it's disconnected? I have the 7TB and it ends up Spread Eagle after it's been sitting a little while. With the subframe this thing takes up some real estate lengthwise, which has been well documented. After settling, it also takes up some width.

Just curious - is this just what you 6/7/8TBers all experience too?

Thanks!

I have a JD frame mount which is a similar layout. I keep the boom in tight when I remove it and after I get it on the ground, I bring the stabilizers back up. For long periods I use a tie-down strap between the stabs to keep them from drifting down. One time, I was able to remove it with the hoe swung to the side and it took up even less space but was more awkward to detach/attach. Nice looking machine!

Ya its to bad the backhoe is not a 4 point hitch, the subframe mount won't have to come off. I wish my tractor was a four point hitch. Most of the brands are starting to go that way.

I hold The boom in a little bit tighter resting on the ground and I put a large block underneath the hoe to prevent the subframe from angling up like yours is as it drifts down. Have to be cautious this way because it is a bit more unstable on the block but I keep it in a corner where it won't be a problem and I leave one of the out riggers in the up position. Also by doing this it allows me to store my bush hog on top of the subframe.

Yours is really clean!
Mine does this too, but dirty and beat up. If i park it like normal, eventually the front of the subframe comes up. I have to jack up the backhoe to drive the tractor over. So, i've been putting a block under, similar to tman

I usually store it on the back of the tractor. My backhoe is a 4 point mount and the subframe stays on the tractor. I set the backhoe on the ground and lift up the stabilizers. I usually put a strap across the stabilizers to prevent them from leaking down. image-3982312009.jpg image-3957343706.jpg image-3982312009.jpg
