Here's the new hired man. :D
It came with additional hydraulics for the back and 3rd port on front for the anbo grapple that shows up Thursday. Bucket is heavy duty round back...the dealer that delivered showed me how easy the FEL comes off. I said thanks...I'll have to review the manual when that day comes because the bucket and the grapple will be doing a lot of work around here and I don't see it coming off for a couple of years.

Power steering is a welcome relief. Mowed a field with Brush Bull 7200 and went into some small saplings in the woods and the difference in horsepower from the old 53 Jubilee was amazing, smooth cutting. All the backing up and repositioning made the HST a good choice. The cruise control lever on the left side takes a load off the foot when cutting hayfield etc. I am glad that I went for the extra HP... very good advice.

Tickled to finally get the machine...the grapple and tree/wood work is what I'm looking forward to.

Thanks for all the help guys in making the decisions. Appreciate all the input I've received the past few months.

Congratulations on the new addition - know you're excited.

When the grapple arrives, strongly suggest you have delivery man show you how to attach and watch while you do it yourself. Also have him demonstrate how the hydraulic disconnects work and watch you do the same. Line pressure must/should be bled down before either disconnecting or connecting. This involves turning ignition switch on and working (wiggle and button pushing) the 3rd function control stick with its "on/off" button depressed. Be sure to check hydraulic levels and for possible line leaks before he leaves. One more suggestion - depending on where they mounted you hydraulic connectors, hydraulic lines on grapple might hang a little long and, therefore, drag the ground with loader arms set low. I hold them up with a bungee cord attached to the cross-pipe of the loader arms.

Have fun, but be careful - take it slow with the grapple.

Congratulations on the L5740, one of my favorite tractors. You are really going to be impressed with what it will do and you are going to love it.

The FEL is so easy to remove/install, I take mine off to bush hog as the ride is smoother and much more maneuverable; takes about five minutes.

Thanks guys...really appreciate the input. All the input makes me look smarter when I start asking questions. My grapple doesn't come with a dealer...so I might have some more questions sbakf.
Thanks again,
Greg
