Kubota L5740 cab + FEL, KX121, KX080
Well, I signed up for an L5740 Cab tractor today with loader, 3 remotes, loader 3rd function, Top and Tilt, a 74" snowblower, and a 6' Woods rotary cutter. I won't take delivery until Mid November due to my schedule - can't wait.

Now I need to sell my 4690 Backhoe+Thumb and 54" snow blower .....

Good For You Hayden. You are going to love the new HST Plus!! My new partner is a Grand L 5240 Cab. Kubota engineers really out did themselves with the xx40 series.
Do you feel like a kid waiting for Santa?
Yeah you do!!
Congrats.....Nice upgrade! Frank

Yes, I confess. Guilty as charged.

I checked out a L5740HSTC yesterday and was really impressed. I'm expanding my snow removal biz here in this rural area and am considering a tractor, a skidsteer, or the Toolcat. I currently own a BX23.

The visibility from the cab of the 5740 was simply amazing. The (somewhat) local dealer is putting together a quote on a tractor/snowblower package for me and I should be hearing from him tomorrow. I probably won't get a skidsteer which means the race is between the Toolcat and the Kubota. I'm going to take the Toolcat on a test run Tuesday...so I guess we'll see.

Congrats on a very impressive machine.

Good luck on your selection. I've been running a 54" snowblower ona B2910 for a number of years and am quite confident that the 74" will be a walk in the park for the L5740. My dealer was suggesting an 84" originally, and they are very conservative. I decided to stick with the smaller unit because much of my terrain is uneaven and I'm worried that the large blower will skim and gouge too much. Besides, both will take 2 passes to clear the road, so it's not clear what the extra width would buy me anyway.

It's here!!! All I have is the tractor, loader, and forks right now sitting in my driveway. The bradco backhoe mounting frame has some issues that Bradco is working through. The mower and snow blower are all ready, but I haven't taken delivery. Once everything is together and tested, it will go to VT for a real workout.

Pictures to come. I got the loader 3rd hydraulic function, and the Kubota Top n Tilt, both of which might be of interest to others. I know I had trouble finding any info on them.

Congrats! I really considered the 5740 before getting the 7040. It's a VERY nice tractor. I look forward to hearing how all the implements and options do.

I put it to use for the first time today. I've got a 40 year old Boston Whaler that's been sitting on the ground for the past 10 years and I needed to get it back on it's trailer. With the forks on the L5740 loader, I scooped up the boat (17' long) and loaded it on the trailer. Pretty cool!!
