\'57 Ford died, NEW B7510 coming soon

Nice board, lots of great info.

About a week ago my Ford 600 threw a rod bearing, so I was left with the choice of rebuilding it, possible $2500, or cutting my losses and getting a new tractor.

The BX2230 was my first choice, but based on what I've read hear, the B7510HSD is looking better for my needs...and it's just a bit cooler. Sorry, loved my big Ford.

I've got some property in central MI, about 10 acres, that's very rolling and wooded, and it's surrounded by water for the most part. It had never been lived on when we bought it, so we attacked the place with chainsaws and old garden tractors. THAT is when I should have bought a tractor; 5 years ago.

Our drive is about 1000', pretty winding and not yet improved. Again, it's pretty heavily wooded, and I like to play around back there. My concern with the BX was more lack of ground clearance than brute force.

So hopefully this weekend I'll take delivery of my new B7510HSD, FEL, 60" MMM and 6' rear blade. This is setting me back just over 15K from Kubota Central in Clare. So far I've been very pleased with this company.

Feedback and congrats are welcome.

RossDean,
I'm a new 7510HSD owner.I got the FEL/TOOTHBAR/60"MMM/6'RB.Saturday will be three weeks since it was delivered.Of course we haven't had a flake of snow in three weeks /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif But I have used it to pull & spread some gravel in the driveway and remove a small rotten stump...I can't wait until the ground dries out a bit and I can really see what it will do???Some snow would be nice too /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifGood luck with yours!!

Thanks for the replies, gents, and the sympathy....she was a good ol' girl.

I'll post a picture of the Ford, if I can figure it out.

Cabledog, up where the tractor will be living, we've got bank upon bank of snow lining the driveway. It's been one hell of a year for snow, and would've been a really good one for a new Kubota.
