I am currently looking at either a 5325 or a 5425. For my needs, the 5325 will work fine but after reading about the problems with the 5325 engines, it makes me lean toward the 5425. I asked my dealer about this and he also said there have been more issues with the 5325 engines. Are there any 5325 owners out there that can comment on their 5325? I will use mine with a 3 bottom plow, 3 pt 84" Rhino mower, teddering and raking hay.

Thanks!

Something to consider if it makes a difference to you is the 5425 and up tractors have significantly improved hydraulic flow rates over the 5325 and lower tractors. I remember the 5425+ having an 18.4 GPM rate at the rear SCVs while the 5325- only has a 13.5 GPM rate at the rear SCVs.

Our 5325 is about one year old, no problems of any kind. Since we only run 80 acres this tractor has worked out well for the size farm. I would let your proposed useage dictate which model you need. But above all fresh fuel for each daily task!

I love my 5525 - it has been very close to perfect.

The extra hyrdaulic flow was important to me - I do a lot of FEL work.

Thanks,
D.
