Mowing 5103 loss of power & engine surging

I picked up some diesel conditioner & injector cleaner that a friend recommended. I poured it in the tank & let the engine idle for a few minutes. I put it under load by mowing & no problems. Evidently there was some trash that eventually broke down.

I just realized I never posted an update. I purchased some diesel conditioner a mechanic friend recommended and it worked right away. I believe it breaks down any particles from what he said. I can't remember the name but will look when I get home.
