Just hit 30 hours today and it seems as if the cab heater isn't blowing as warm as it had been up to now. The outside temp was around 30 but I don't think that should matter.

It also seems as if the temp gauge is very slow to come up to operating temperature. Is there a warm-up procedure I don't know about or should I be looking for some sort of problem anyone knows about?

It was my understanding that the limits of the climate control in these cabs would be colder in summer and warmer in winter than one could ever need...

Sounds like the thermostat might be sticking on the tractor. Or you need a warmer one.

It may be disappointing but I doubt there is anything wrong with your cooling /heating system. Diesels just don't make a lot of heat unless they are working hard and couple that with a direct drive fan pulling cold air over the rad and engine.
I usually put card board over the grill to help warm things up and you may be able to upgrade the Tstat to a "low leak" version that will warm the engine faster.

Since your tractor is new you may well want to discuss with the dealer and they might be able to improve the situation.

As far as the warming up issue, an idling tractor will take forever, especially in sub freezing temperatures, to actually warm up to operating temperature. You are going to need to drive it around, get the RPM's up and put a load on it first before you expect to see the temp gauge move.

That's the way all tractors are.

I have no heat out of mine in the winter, anything below -10C. Cardboard in front of the rad helped quite a bit.

Lately I've found that running the motor at higher RPMs improves the performance of the heater. That's a big improvement since the temps have been around zero this week...

I know I don't have the extreme cold that alot of you do ... however .. its been colder than normal so cold in fact the 5520 struggles to start!!

BUT about 15 minutes at 1200 rpm idle it was toasty warm in the cab!!!
