I have a 2014 5065e with 400 hours on it. Been kept inside. The FEL lever is sticking some when raising. It doesn't do it every time and is easy to push back to center but it is a little dangerous when navigating through the barn, etc. I have removed the spool and polished with emery cloth and it stopped for a few minutes. I did it again and it is back to the same thing. When it sticks, it really feels like it is on the lever side, maybe right where the cable attaches to the piston or the piston itself. I have read multiple threads on this and many have lubed, sprayed, changed out SCVs, but I do not want to spend $1600 for a new SCV without knowing it is the issue 100% first. I would like to remove the top boot right under the lever but can seem to figure out how. Does it have some type of twist lock? How is it attached to the lower section? Anyone ever had the lever stick at this place? I have lubed the cables good and they seem fine. Any other suggestions? Below is the diagram. I am trying to remove part 3 from 5. Thanks for anyone's help!
