Can you hear the solenoid in the fuel injector pump kick in when you turn the key on? or does my whole pump need to be replaced? month or so ago i replaced fuel filter and primer pump gasket above filter. battery was weak and starter was about shot from earlier years. managed to pull start tractor and it seemed to run ok at higher speeds but when i idled down it died. i knew that was wrong. never happened before. Turned over better than it has in years. hasn't cranked since though. Loosened fuel line leading into pump to pump fluid all the way till it drips. tightened it back up. nothing. finally discovered fuel line may have been doubled under filter to possibly have slowed down my fuel flow after a few days of trying to get pump primed. got better flow for sure going into it but that is all. tested voltage to solenoid on pump. Got voltage, can't hear it when i turn the key on though. just curious if it was audible and also what size socket i needed to pull it off in case it does need to be replaced. it has tom kind of security allen or torque head on it. would certainly like to see physically that solenoid works before dragging her into shop or ordering $1800.00 pump.
Thanks for any and all help
