I have been working on the 5020 some more. Since purchase, the transmission oil has been milky. I have replaced 3 times, even cleaning with diesel at one point and it is still milky. The tractor has been parked outside. Is this still the old water in oil or is new water entering the system? If new, where is it entering through? (the boots on the brake valve were completely destroyed and lots of oil leakage through here). The oil cap breather is not plugged.

I have had it and have decided to try and correct the problem definitively. I have drained the transmission, and opened the inspection cover and cleaned the inside, drained the steering cylinders and oil cooler. I have disconnected the big lines under the steering valve and allowed drainage through those. I am rebuilding the brake valve, differential valve and breakaway couplers. I am also having the transmission seal replaced as it has been leaking like crazy after I run and stop the tractor. The SCV valve is not leaking to the outside. The steering valve is leaking but I do not have the money to rebuild it as I just spent a lot on overhauling the engine.

What else should be drained? What could be the culprit? I appreciate all help, I would like to solve this problem definitively.

Do you store your tractor inside or outside? I've heard in the past of water entering through trans case cover mounting area.

It is stored outside. Would it be getting past the gasket under the cover?

Yes water leaking past gasket is a possibility.

How much water is required to turn 15 gal of hydraulic oil milky?

I can't answer your question BUT even a small water is very detrimental to rear brake pads.

Update.

I had drained all of the transmission oil and thoroughly cleaned the inside of the transmission housing about a week ago. The tractor has been under cover. Today, I re-opened the top cover and noted condensation on all transmission components! There were about 2 cups of water at the bottom of the housing. I am sure this is the source of the milky oil. The vent holes in the filler cap are open. How do I stop this condensation from occurring, I would like to correct this issue once and for all!

Heat will stop the condensation.. need to get it dried out, which apparently hasn't happened with just draining and refilling.

Don't understand how you could "thoroughly clean" the inside of the transmission. How did you do that?

Sorry, I meant I dried of all the contained oil from the floor and walls. It has been dry but the condensation returns. I even took apart and cleaned the oil filler cap.
