Well, it's finally time for the 50 hour service. Since I have a great Deutz dealer right near me, I think I'm going to have him come check up on the engine, since it's brand new(I've done business with him before, he's a great guy) but I'll be doing the hydraulic changes myself. Just a few questions on the bleeding process. PT gave me a new filter and a hose with a fitting on each end(one 90 degree fitting) I'm assuming this is the bleeder hose? I've been reading all the posts about bleeding and there isn't much on the diesel PT's. Is the procedure pretty much the same? Do I have to crank the engine? If so, what should I disconnect so the engine dosn't start up during cranking?
Thanks for your help.
