Drained the diesel and cleaned filter yesterday. A friend gave me 3 buckets of diesel as a friend, for letting him use it and for hunting on land. Was pouring one in and hadn't gotten to the last 1/4 and a ton of gook came out. B4 I could stop and grab the funnel (I'm a paraplegic btw) the gook had already went into the tank (*^*expletive expletive expletive*^*). Worst part of being handicapable is u can't get REAL mad without REALLY hurting yourself hahaha more than I would have b4 I was handicapable. So, after setting those buckets marked and to the side for, "other uses", I began the cleaning task. While I was on the ground I noticed a little pin about an inch long touching the draft (draw a line in ur mind directly below fuel tank). It has obviously been this way for some time bc there was a pronounced mark going all the way around the shaft. I pushed up on it and turned on case there was threading and there was nothing. I noticed it was going inside thru the middle of a squared off (from what I could tell) nut. I have had a hydraulic leak for quite some time so I wondered if I had found it. I got out the manual, pulled up diagrams, blown up schematics, other parts list and I got nothin'. Could've very well missed something in an effort to find it quickly before the wife and 20 month old baby boy got home and continuing to research while feeding him and getting the daily work stories. So, after a lengthy explanation and no pictures what say you fellow Mahindrians? Or other tractorians with knowledge related to this.
