Snow 47" snow blower and Christmas lights

Well tonight I was blowing out the neighbors driveways. The next door neighbors hasn't taken down his Christmas lights. (new Led strand 19.95 )
well I got about 1" to close to his shrubs next to his garage and it is amazing how fast 25'-35' of lights will wrap around the shaft on the snow blower.
I told his son to tell Dad I would talk to him tomorrow about his lights. Richie told me his Dad was wanting to take those lights down and I told him at least he won't have to worry about taking down that set.
Came over to the house and I took my splicing scissors. cut the 20 or so wraps off the shaft....What a mess. !!

Well, that's a good one. It confirms it, snow-blowers are not made to blow Christmas light. What a disappointment.

You saved him lots of work removing the lights!! I would charge him for removing them from the blower though!!

Should have hooked them up to the battery, that would have been purty!!!

Oh the things blower can find..lights,toys,sled ropes etc.

Never thought about telling him that. This afternoon I will have to make him up a bill for Christmas light removal. 30-35 yrs ago he was showing off to his kids and the neighbors standing up on seat of this 350 Yamaha .Well one thing lead to another next thing he was standing up not holding on to the handlebars.
That part went fine....getting back down and grabbing the handlebars wasn't ,he fell off back,bike came across his yard towards my yr old pickup misses it, hits the corner of my garage..Thankfully he was OK little scuff marks on seat of pants and hands...Corner of garage ,well busted the 3 2x4 on corner, ruined the outside corner siding and about 6 pieces of siding... We weren't home when this all took place...Around 10pm that evening his wife made him come over and tell me about hitting the side of our garage....Oh course I asked if he was OK after I was able to quit laughing ....I had built the house just a yr before this so I still had siding and the pieces of corner that I could replace everything...Even at that I sent him abill for about $5,000 just for the jollies..... Well he has one now on me...but in Church Sunday I will have to tell him I will sending him a bill for Chistmas light removal and I'm available if he needs anymore removed....
