4530 Hour Meter Question

The hour meter on my 4530 has a space to the right of the tenths of an hour digit. The space has a wheel which moves between black and white. What is the significance of this wheel??

I never did know what that was on any of my Kubotas.

i would say the same thing. it should move faster than the tenths digit would

A lot of hour meters have that. Yup, it is just to tell you the meter is working. Like the second hand on a clock, not much use but lets you know clock is working
