I've decided on a Massey after looking at the Mahindras fro a while. Finally got to operate them right after each other... compared the mahindra 4530 to the 451... figure these are about as comparable as I could get. The MF just felt like it had more oomph, could be the extra cubes. Looking at the 451 vs 461 I was surprised to see the dimensions differed with the 461 being smaller. Other notable differences were no creeper gear on the 461. I like the 461's higher ground clearance. Is there a big difference between dry dual disc clutch vs single disc, and the 461 also has a lower gpm for hydraulics. I do want a FEL with bale spear. Looking to replace old MF135, primarily used for maintaining established pasture, box blading, grading of neighborhood road. Also will be used for food plot maintenance at hunting lease... some areas get real boggy. Any suggestions/ideas. All implements are 6' size cat 1. Assume the 461 is more economical with turbo, hence the smaller fuel tank?? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
