445 john deere not running

I have a john deere 445 mower and when I mow for about an hour it wants to quit. Sometimes when I fill it up with fuel or loosen the fuel tank cap it will come out of it. If I let it sit for a while it will run again. It will run for about an hour before it starts acting up, anybody got any suggestions?

Sounds like a plugged vent in the fuel cap, as loosening the cap lets it run again. Check that out a bit closer to be sure.

My 425 did that. In my case it was the ignition module. Once it got hot, it would die. Not sure if the fuel injected 445 is identical in that respect though.
