Talked to a few dealers in the area (150miles) and the closest dealer had the best price. What are the odds? Anyway this is the deal.
4410 e-hydro
R4's
motion/speed/cruise
430 FEL 4in1 bucket
mid pto w/ 72in belly mower.
top and tilt
all required hydraulics
hvy duty alt
$25000 with the 0% for 12 months deal.

Is this in the ball park.
I also want the dealer to put chain hooks on the bucket. 2 or 3, and where should they go.
Thanks

Jimmo,
Ask if front wheels will clear deck.On 4400 front tires hit deck.Tire type makes a difference. What color is deck? Yellow is old, green is new.Check telescoping draft arms for hook ups.Consider remote hydraulics from factoryand power beyond if you want a backhoe at some time.I think any options installed at factory, your better off.

I think what you are looking at is reasonable in Oregon, but I do not know what they are asking for where you live.
I put the hooks on the back of my bucket.

I'd put two on in the same general position as shown in the attachment. Make sure they are USA made and not the Chinese made hooks.

Thanks for the advice. The hooks I've got are made by Crosby in USA and are 3/8 inch. Ive also got 5/16 but I think the 3/8 are the ones I'll use.
Also another question... to power the mid PTO and my 72inch deck the manual says you have to have the rear PTO engaged. Does this mean I could conceivably power 2 implements at the same time ie the belly mower and a rotary mower.
Thanks again

Jim....

The hooks I have on my buckets are 3/8". I think you'll find these to be more durable and effective than the 5/16, unless you already have the smaller link chain that can be accommodated by the 5/16" and don't won't to spend up to purchase 3/8" chains.

Re: the PTO question. I may be wrong but I believe only rear PTOs operating instructions are provided. If mid-PTO operating instructions are provided in some manuals there should be a separate section in the manual covering this. If your manual only provides operating instructions for the rear PTO, then I believe it assumes you're operating an attachment off the 3PH and only the rear PTO. I've never heard of anyone using 2 attachments at the same time....on both mid and rear PTOs. Which 2 attachments did you have in mind and why would you want to operate both at same time?

BTW, just looked at your profile and note you're in Alaska. I envy you....always wanted to get up there....have always believed that's the last US State with room to grow.

Actually I just work up here now. Wife got tired of the winters so we moved to MO year and a half ago. I commute every 2 weeks.
As for using 2 attachments at the same time, I don't think I would. I was just curious to know if you could. It seems on this 4410 to engage the mid PTO the rear PTO has to be engaged first.

The mid PTO is probably geared off of the rear PTO. You have to engage the rear first, then the mid. When shutting down, disengage mid firts then rear.

As far as usng both at the same time. I'm sure you could, if you have enough horses. Then again, it might put too much strain on the rear PTO. In other words, I don't have a clue.

I would think that you must be able to operate both Rear and Mid at the same time , because my 4110 has 3 positions in which to operate the PTO's. 1 for Rear only , 1 for Mid only and 1 for Rear and Mid.
