Mopar,
As promised here are some pictures. The first shows the throwing distance nicely. My 4310 has thrown snow well over 60' when the snow is dry and powdery.
I have had my 4310 for a few months now and that snowblower is indispensible. It clears my 600ft. paved driveway (including 60ft. turncircle) in about 15 minutes or quicker with a foot of snow.
In this last storm this weekend we had over 2 feet and it took me about 25 minutes, but I was having fun too /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I haven't been able to stall it.
A few times I went up 100 ft. of incline on my driveway (very steep) at around 6 or 7 miles per hour in 8 inches of snow and it ran like a champ. The RPMs may drop a little, but the torque just builds.
The thing is a beast, when I got down to the end of the driveway this weekend and encountered the town plow's drift the snowblower just devoured it, ice and all. I had the drift cutters (which stick up about 1 ft over the top of the opening) completely buried in the snow bank and it went right through.
The only things that could be counted against it are the $4,500 price tag, the fact that the hydrualically controlled chute will chafe against the grill guard if you have one (when the blower is raised and or the chute is at 180 degrees in either direction).
As for the 4300/4400 4310/4410 question... How fast do you want to work? The 44xx would give you more power, but unless you are doing commercial work it probably won't make financial sense. Enjoy the pictures and check out the post I created when I got the tractor as I posted numerous pics of the blower and tractor at

Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks,
