Howdy All,
I need some help with my 1996 JD 425 Lawn and Garden tractor. I have a lot of play in the steering wheel. It feels like it's coming from the steering column itself, not the power steering cylinder or the steering linkage. It has a tilt column and that feels loose too. I have the Tech Manual, but I am unable to find any instructions as to how I go about removing the the center cover screen, foot rests, and anything else I need to remove to get access to it.
