Just looked at a Kubota L4240. N-I-C-E. It is sitting on turf tires with a LA854 front end loader ready to be installed. It is going to be plumbed with a third valve on the loader for a grapple or 4 in 1. Quick atach skid steer bracket as well. I was looking at a John Deere 4120 also, but the Kubota in a much nicer machine in my opinion.

The 4120 is a nice machine, but in my opinion is is more geared toward a homeowner with too much money. The machine seems like it should have it's own garage, where as the Kubota is a machine that is made for work.

I just got my L3940 HSTC last night. It is a VERY NICE machine !!!

Always interesting to see everyone's take on the different colors. I seriously looked at the 4240/4740 as well. I ended up liking the JD 4120/4320 better. I wanted a gear tractor, and the PowrReverser was very nice. In my region, I got lower pricing on the JD's then the new Kubota GL 40's.

In the end, I think they are both great rigs. I will have to say that the loader on the Kubota operated very nicely.
