4210 Ordered

I ordered a 4210 HST MFWD, turfs, 430 loader (yes, 430!) quick hitch, ballast box and 72" belly mower last week. 

Expected delivery (to me) is 4/15.

One interesting thing is that I was looking for a finance deal - some form of no payments/no interest for a year. That deal expired 3/31. Dealer asked me exactly what I wanted. Told him half down, the rest in a year with no interest. He called JD finance, and they agreed to it, so thats what I'm doing. I was surprised, and told him so. He said they are willing to talk about just about any finance deal that makes sense. Word to the wise!

One of the main reasons I stepped up to the 4310 was the 430. Everything says the 4210 goes up to the 420 - how'd you swing the 430? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Of course you knew someone would ask....

Andy... you prove the old saying "the only dumb question is the one you don't ask"... congratulations! Now for the Looooonnnngggg wait, how are you at counting sheep???
Regarding the 430 loader... since the 4210 is physically the same size as the 4310+ there is no doubt the 430 loader will fit... the restriction is probably only due to gph on the hydraulic system! I'm sure it will work fine!

Regarding the 430 - my dealer suggested it right up front. When I questioned it, he replied that even though it is not in the books, JD supports it, and proceeded to give me some reasons why I would be happier with it. He said that he has sold a bunch of 4210's with a 430, and everyone is happy. The price diff was about $530. Sounded good to me!

Regarding waiting - it's awful! Not that I'm into wishing my life away... But, my yard still has 2 feet of snow in places, and the rest is mud, and my wife would make fun of me if I just drove it around in the driveway, so I try to accept what I can not change.

The 4310 has a longer wheelbase, higher hydraulic pressure, larger engine, and 6 ply tires- you did not make a mistake.

Thanks! I wasn't worried. I figure it's best to get all the facts out for future shoppers. That is what makes TBN so great.

If anything, I am stil on the small side with the 4310. But we'll do just fine with it.

BTW, Stan, iou talk as if you have a 4310, but yer bio doesn't, what's the scoop? (just curious)
