Where Do you keep it when post hole digging and brush hogging ?????
1 - 5 , 1 being toward the front of tractor(steering wheel), 5 being toward rear of tractor (3pt hitch). In the past, I have kept it at 3 (middle ) But this time around it felt Like I was getting little downward pressure

Thanks
Buck

You should keep it in the off position. If you are using it for bush hogging or post hole digging you are asking for trouble. Every time it senses a change in ground pressure it is going to adjust the 3ph height.
Draft control was designed to work with ground engaging equipment ie-- a plow. If the plow digs in and bogs down the tractor the 3ph will raise, if there is no drag on the implement it will push the 3ph down. This type of control is not necessary with a bush hog or a post hole digger.

Buck,
Unless you are plowing, leave it in the 1 position.

Like busting a half dozen shear pins on ten holes, I agree

the metal T posts and electric horse tape for fencing, just drew a blank on this one the past weekend ( memory slipping plus It took the wife two days to find the owners manual )

Hello all. A quick introduction
New here at TBN. Also new owner of a Mahindra 4110 (first tractor ever owned). A newby all the way around.
My question. I'm trying to run a XB Farm King single blade (bottom?) plow. I've set the draft control to 5 it's highest position. The plow stays in the ground for approx 10' and then rises to the top and stays there. Is the draft control not working? Do I need to add some weight to the plow? The 4110 has the power to pull the plow when it's deep into the ground (have to use 4wheel drive) but I can't keep the plow in the ground? Any ideas would be appreciated.

It sounds like you need to do some adjusting whith your 3 PH arms and top link.

Thanks Galen. I'll try some adjusting and see what happens. I've got a lot of plowing to do, plenty of time for trial & error.
