410c MFWD engauged in either pedal position

So ive recently become the owner of an 89 Deere 410c. The MFWD pedal was siezed in the MFWD position. It was just the pin and workinh it back and forth with penetrating oil freed it up nicely. To my suprise the MFWD is still engauged in either position. The linkage is all intact and the plunger moves freely. Where do i start?

JD parts implies that there is an hydraulic valve that actuates the mechanical linkage. That make sense for what you see?

Yes that is the valve! Its operated manually through linkage to a foot pedal

I suggest for you to get a JD 410C tech manual. JD AG tractors with MFWD require activation of electrical solenoid to disengage MFWD
