4100 Ford, hyd pump location.

Where would this pump be located at? The lift is not working, oil level is good, so I think I may need to prime it. I think it is by where my right foot is at(as sitting on the tractor seat) but not sure. Just would like to know before I start taking line off.

it is locate below the right hand side running board to remove it you must remove the lift top then the remove the pump and flow control together and these pumps or submerged in oil so the don't need to be primed

Thanks for the reply. For some reason the lift is working again. I wonder if the control valve under the lift arm might have gotten stuck some how.

what's the oil look like?

last time the sump / filter changed/cleaned?

lastly.. yes.. it's not 'rare' for the unloader valve to leak.. not commone either.. but not rare.

next time it don't work, pull the option plug on the 3x5 cover under the seat and see if there is oil there... if so.. pump is pumping fine.. same deal onthe pto.. it's ind and uses oil pressure to engage pto clutch
