To save a few dollars, I picked up my new 410 loader for my 4100 in a crate and installed it myself. Bolting the mount brackets on was not too bad, but there was some confusion with the hydraulic connections.

The instructions specified which connections on the loader went to each color coded-connection on the tractor. When I powered it up, the lift and bucket controls were swapped and also functioned reverse of what they should.

To get it to work right, I ended up copying the connections from my front blade.

I double checked the instructions, and I can only conclude that either the instructions are incorrect or the color-coded SCV connections on my tractor are plumbed differently than JD expects.

Here is what ended up working:

Yellow = Bucket Curl
Silver = Bucket Dump
Green = Lift Up
Black = Down

Is this the normal setup for the SCV?
