These are the "lightest" ones I have found. They run around $1500. I am considering purchasing the 60" model for my B3030.

A 4in1 takes your tractor up to a whole new level. I guarantee it will be the best attachment you ever add. Think about it. How many skidsteers do you see with an ordinary bucket? Hardly any. (The pro's aren't fools). About the only disadvantage is that scooping from a nice neat pile of dirt, sand or gravel may be less efficient than with a dedicated bucket. But how often do you do that? Most often I'm scooping up dirt and debris that I've scraped up with the 4in1.

All the other tricks - dozing, grappling, back dragging, etc, etc, etc, are extras that you can't do with an ordinary bucket. The clam gives you great 'reach' thats very handy (especially for a small tractor). But a key point is that with a 4in1 you can do all these things almost similtaneously. You've gotta try one to really understand what that means. Or watch a pro with a Bobcat. He'll often be working the clam as much as the bucket.

A 4in1 is as much benefit to a small tractor as a big one. Maybe even more so because the clam can often make up for the lack of reach, weight and traction that small tractors suffer from. For example, with a combination of dozing and clamming, you can 'pick up' a mess of rock and dirt that would cause a little tractor with an ordinary bucket to be spinning its wheels at the first sign of resistance.

Hey Ronnie, I appreciate your enthusiasm, we all have had it, but this is the third forum in which you have posted basically the same question. Forum rules forbid duplicate posts to save server space and I don’t want you to start having post closed by the moderators because you were unintentionally breaking the rules.

I left you some thoughts about 4in1 buckets on one of the other posts.

I'd like to see the 'box scraper leveller' video on that site but all I get is a white box. I've got Windows XP and Explorer. Any suggestions on what my problem is?

And the point about losing rear traction due to the extra weight up front is well made. I tend to forget about that as i have a backhoe too.

The video links do not work- I think they need some help updating their website. In an earlier page he made referfence to 4in1 buckets only being reccomended for B2710/2910/7800/303+ sized units because of the additional weight they added to the FEL.

I note that you have a small tractor and love your 4in1. I love my bucket grapple. For my needs it serves me well but I bet I could use a 4in1 more

What make/model 4-in-1 do you have on your B1550? I always heard that the increased weight of the 4-in-1 setup was too much for a smaller tractor and decreased its total lift capacity significantly.
