Don't know how this affects other John Deere CUTS, but I found the power cord from my block heater lying on a pasture access road. Had it fallen anywhere else, I'd likely have lost it forever. Reinstallation is awkward, the heater itself is inconveniently located behind the main hydraulic line. Took me 10 minutes of feeling around in the blind to get it pushed back into the heater receptacle. This time I used a zip tie to secure the cord to an adjacent fitting. It will likely vibrate out again some day, but at least now I won't lose the **** thing.
