I thought the point of an SCV was if multiple spools were activated simultaneously the valve balances the pressure between all 3 spools????
When I run my Clemens weeder with the 3rd SCV spool on my Deere 3720 I can't get the 1st SCV spool to raise the weeder (normally for raising the FEL) but with the Clemens I have a double acting S5 lift column from Clemens that I have attached to the quick connects out front.
Is there something wrong with my SCV or do I not understand the function of the SCV. I am an engineer but hydraulics are not my specialty and farming is a new venture. Can someone that understands Deere SCV functions help me out?
PS. the 3rd SCV is plumbed to a flow control - something the Clemens needs to function optimally. If I dial back the flow on this I can get the 1st valve to work but again I thought the point of the SCV was to allow all functions simultaneously. eg. if I had a grapple on my FEL i would need them all to work together.
