For you fellas that have installed (or had installed) 3rd function kits on 35 or 40 series tractors, where and how was the valve placed. I have a 4020r and I have purchased a kit (I know where the hoses attach) but am having a bit of trouble deciding where to put the 3rd function valve. My 4020 has the joystick on the fender and the loader valve is under the floor on the right side of the tractor. Not a lot of room. Any ideas or help (especially with pics) would be much appreciated....

On my 3725H there looks to be room under the floorboard on the right side (which you can see by removing the cover) but on a gear model I think that cover holds the gear shift and that space has shift linkage in it.

The factory Branson diverter puts the valve out on the loader torque tube.

when we install them at our dealership( on the fender mount joysticks. we usually mount the valve itself the the cross member for the FEL as its out of the way but easy enough to route you Hyd lines where they won't interfere with anything else.

Loader arm install, snug fit with about 1/8 " clearance with hood.
