3pt oil leak problem

I have a Kubota B7200 tractor. Today while raising the 4ft rear rotary cutter to change the blades, I noticed oil leaking from the area around where the lift arms go into the tractor. I imediately set the mower back down and took it off the tractor then drove tractor to the garage. When I got off the tractor the leak had stopped. My first thought was that a seal had blown, but I would think that it would leak all the time. I then stood on the draw bar and had my wife stand on it and we raised and lowered the 3pt with no problems and no leaks. Does anyone have any ideas on what happened or any further input. All comments would be appreciated.

Check to make sure the vent tube is not blocked, I had my B8200 do something like this when I first got it. There was one of those mud bees in the tube. Used a wire to clear the tube and never had another problem.

O.K., I guess I don't know what you mean by vent tube!

On most of these tractors there is a vent for the trans. On my B8200 there was a U shaped tube behind the seat that vented the trans. I don't know it it is the same for a B7200 or not. Maybe someone who has one will be able to help you a little more than I.

My B2400 has its vent tube just barely under the seat. It's ontop of the transmission case between the lift arms.

Any chance the trans is overserviced? Possibly water in the reservoir? Is it a milky color? Were you on an incline(back of the tractor lower)?

Both the tractor and the mower were on level ground. The oil wasn't milky, although a little dark colored. I would expect the hydraulic fluid to be clearer. Thanks for your help.
