Kioti DK35, Case 1190
I am having trouble with lowering the 3PH to a specific Height on a DK35. It wants to go either full up or full down. Very difficult to get it to stop at an intermediate height. Any tips or tricks....

There are 2 levers.
One lever is for draft control, the other lever is position control.
Make sure you are using the position control lever and the 3 point should stop anywhere you need it to.

No not a New Tractor, It has 480 hrs on it. I bought it last fall with about 370 hrs on it...so I am just getting aquainted. The guy I got it from is a contractor. I think he was a pretty honest fellow, He told me the dealer did all the maintenance work. After I wrote the check, I was looking at the engine for the dipstick,..they are kind of hard to see, so I asked him where the oil dipstick was at and he looked at me kind of funny. At that point, I knew I might be in for a few suprises along the way.

So back to the original question. I am having a hard time adjusting the 3PH to the right level...It seems strong enough and works fast, but I just can't get it to stop at any intermeadiate level. I thought (hoped) there might be some kind of relief valve or something that could be adjusted.

Just a novice to this Kioti,,,,so far I think it is a good tractor,,,just several quirks that catch me by surprise...

Oh yeah... I have tried all the settings with the draft control full up, full down every combination. Moving the position control fast, and slow to a spot on the slide...still not very good at getting it to stop at a particular height....

there is also an adjustment for up and down speed that is located below the seat just up off the floor, mine is gray and it shows witch way to turn it for fast or slow, dont confuse this with the driver seat weight ajustment,
the controll works well when using heavy attachments so they dont slam on the ground, but if you dont readjust it and have a light weight attachment it will go down real slow.
hope this helps

Does it have position control only or does it also have draft control?

Hi...It has both Position and Draft Control... I have tried every combination, with no luck so far, Next step is to find the speed control that n1wjr talked about... and see what kind of difference that might make..

Thanks for all the help...The folks on this board are Great!!

Unless Kiotis are different than what I am use to, push the draft lever all the way forward or down. Then you should be able to use the position control to control the lift.
The knob only adjusts the rate of drop, it doesn't have anything to do with the speed of the lift going up. If you turn it too far to the slow side, it will shut the flow off completely.
